Throughout
history, new ideas and methods have bought scepticism and
criticism. However, as human culture grows and consciousness
expands, more minds search for and accept new thoughts into
mainstream thinking. Today, consciousness is expanding more
rapidly than science can validate, driving people to seek more
integrated approaches to their health care. This trend which
contributed over $27 billion to the US Natural Health Market
is now flowing into the animal health field.
IAATH recognises the need to define these "new
sciences", provide professional standards for practioners,
educate the public, ensure the right to professional health
care, and offer a common ground for sharing an integrating
research. |

|
| State
and national regulatory bodies are currently being pressed to set
standards for an industry in which they have limited experience.
This may limit animal health care options of the future. IAATH can
help integrate and educate this industry now. |
